LA Smith-Buxton is an artist and writer living and working from her home studio in the Laurel Highlands of southwestern Pennsylvania.

Working in a variety of media including watercolor, printmaking, collage, assemblage, and fiber arts, she explores a variety of subject matter from whimsical figures to abstract meditations, playing with lines, patterns, and surface structures to create works on paper, canvas, wood, metal, and fabric that are ironically light playful.
